Forklift Operators Wanted!

Our client is seeking for a forklift operator to be based in Perth Airport. This role will primarily involve operating forklifts to load and unload trucks containing mail cages, pallets, and irregular ugly freight

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload inbound and outbound freight
  
• Handle a variety of freight types, including pallets, mail cages, and irregular freight
  
• Build up or break down pallets as needed to meet dispatch requirements
  
• Assist with general warehouse operations across receipt and dispatch
  
• Work collaboratively with a close-knit team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  
• Morning shifts can be 0400 or 0600 start, midday starts or afternoon shift with roughly a 1700 or 1800 start time.
  

Skills and Requirements

• Valid forklift licence (LF)
  
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or transport environment preferred
  
• Ability to handle various types of freight, including irregular or oversized loads
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
  
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment
